From you doorstep at The Rise, you can explore the myriad of trails around Noosa. There are the spectacular coastal walks of Noosa National Park and the charming pathways of Noosa Woods. Of course, there’s always the beach itself, just perfect for a sunset amble.

Another area well worth exploring, and just a 5 minute drive from The Rise, is the Noosa River precinct around Noosaville. This is rapidly becoming Noosa’s new hot spot, with a burgeoning restaurant scene evolving riverside, allowing diners to look out over the broad stretches of sunlit estuary. When Hastings Street becomes too busy, this is the place to go.

Noosa River and National Parks

The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia’s most popular destinations. The weeklong festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7-80+, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate/VIP facilities and a serious after Party you’ll also need to train for.

King Of The Mountain Festival

The famous King of the Mountain Festival and Race is Noosa’s major hinterland festival held in Pomona on the fourth Sunday of July each year. The day kicks off with the famous bush poet’s breakfast followed by the Quarter Marathon and 3km family fun runs. A full line-up of professional entertainers, rides, food and attractions run throughout the day.

Noosa Summer Swim Festival

In 2020, the weekend festival will again offer a range of distances for every ability, from junior events to the 5.0km Noosa Grand Prix where seasoned swimmers can push their limits alongside current Australian representative swimmers.
