Noosa Location & Attractions

Since the 1980s, Noosa has been considered Australia’s most cosmopolitan seaside village, with international-class restaurants, cafes, and shopping boutiques, just metres from the sands of Laguna Bay with its safe swimming beach and perfect point break waves.

The Rise Noosa Resort is only a short walk to this dynamic Hastings Street culture hub.

From you doorstep at The Rise, you can explore the myriad of walking trails around Noosa. There are the new baordwalk to Noosa National Park, the spectacular coastal walks of Noosa National Park itself and the charming pathways of Noosa Woods. Of course, there’s always the beach itself, just perfect for a sunset amble.

Noosa Junction is just a 5 minute walk down the hill and a favorite of locals for good value hip eating and drinking venues as well as retail and supermarkets.

Another area well worth exploring, and just a 5 minute drive from The Rise, is the Noosa River precinct around Noosaville. This is rapidly becoming Noosa’s new hot spot, with a burgeoning restaurant scene evolving riverside, allowing diners to look out over the broad stretches of sunlit estuary. When Hastings Street becomes too busy, this is the place to go.
